Heidi relocated to Lethbridge in 2016 and has since built both her education and career within the community. She completed her Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation – Gerontology at Lethbridge Polytechnic, grounding her work in person-centered practice and a strong understanding of aging, inclusion, and community wellbeing.

Throughout her career, Heidi has spent several years supporting individuals with disabilities in community-based settings, alongside extensive work in mental health and harm reduction initiatives across Alberta. She has served in outreach, program coordination, and leadership roles, including Director of Programs for a harm reduction organization, where she oversaw program development, stakeholder engagement, and community education initiatives. She currently works in housing, providing intensive case management to high-acuity individuals experiencing homelessness and complex mental health challenges. Her work centers on housing stability, systems navigation, and fostering collaborative partnerships that support long-term wellbeing.
