Our Board & Staff

SASHA is governed by a passionate and committed volunteer Board of Directors. The SASHA Board is dedicated to providing consistent and careful direction to ensure that SASHA meets the needs of its clients, and evolves to continue leading best practices for mental health support.

The 4 Roles of the SASHA Board are:

Ensuring that SASHA is focused on delivering its Mission and Vision, and reviewing these regularly to ensure that they serve SASHA’s clients and community.

Approving plans and budgets, and supporting activities to ensure SASHA has the resources needed to fulfil its Mission.

Providing governance via strategic planning, policies and procedures, and risk management to ensure financial obligations are well managed, and operations achieve outcomes in an ethically and appropriate manner.

Creating connections between SASHA and the greater community to establish understanding and support for SASHA’s Mission and Vision, and to ensure relevancy of SASHA offerings.

Our Board is currently recruiting new members. Click the link below for details.

Lukas Neamtu

He works for the University of Lethbridge where he coordinates work-integrated learning programs including applied studies and co-operative education. It was through a number of student placements with SASHA that he learned what SASHA does, how important their work is, and how great the staff and clients are! Combine that with his belief that good people know good people and joining SASHA's Board of Directors was a very easy decision.

Outside of work and SASHA he is busy playing games, going to parks, and causing mischief with his wife and two kids.

He is proud to have served on the Board for over four years in the roles of Vice President and President so the amazing work and impact can continue.
